It is a high yielding Gran nine Banana introduced to India from Isreal. The Plant grows to a height of 6.5 to 7.5 Feet. The bunches can be harvested within twelve to thirteen months from the date of planting the tissue culture plants in the main field adopting the high tech horticultural practices like,
1. Drip Irrigation
2. Fertigation
3. Integrated Nutrient management
4. Integrated Pest and Disease Management.

Each bunch will be having 14 to 18 hands with 250 to 280 number of fruits. The fruits of Grand Naine Banana variety are delicious to eat and keeping quality of the fruit is high compared to our native varieties. It is recommended to plant 1200 plants / acre with a spacing of 6 x 6 ft.
